Huawei Technologies Co., China’s largest producer of IT component,
has uncovered world’s quad-core powered 10-inch tablet, the “MediaPad 10
FHD” on second day of MWC, Spain.
The10-inch MediaPad will come
with pre-loaded Android Ice Cream Sandwich version and it is powered by
quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and a 10-inch HD touch-screen with 1920 x
1200p resolution.
Huawei announces MediaPad 10 FHD
The company said at MWC exhibition that its
latest MediaPad 10 FHD is the fastest quad-core slate PC and it runs on
Huawei’s own 1.5 GHz K3 mobile chipset. The K3 CPU provides unrepeatable
3D graphics processing ability and awesome browsing experience to
end-users.
One
of the interesting thing in this tablet is it has several wireless
connectivity options like 4G LTE and HSPA+, which will give up to 84
Mbps wireless internet browsing speeds. The MediaPad 10 FHD is equipped
with high-definition In-plane switching screen technology and supports
multi-touch facility.
The company has also integrated one of the
best sound technologies called “Dolby surround sound”. Moreover, Huawei
MediaPad 10 FHD has a 2GB of pre-loaded RAM, an 8-megapixel rear snapper
with auto-focus feature and a 1.3-MP front camera for video talk.
On
the exterior, the company has prepared its body with aluminum-alloy
materials that gives a glossy and light finish. It is 598g in weight
& 8.8mm slim. According to Huawei, the MediaPad 10 FHD will be
initially released in European countries in second quarter of 2012.
