The South-Korean’s biggest mobile producer has added one more
high-end smartphone to its Galaxy line and has exposed the “Samsung
Galaxy Beam” at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona.
The company has
integrated one latest feature in this smartphone called “50-inch
Projector”, the Galaxy Beam is the first smartphone from Samsung to
bring built-in projector. It can also be called as Samsung’s projector
phone.
The Beam’s projector has ability to show High-Definition
pictures up to 50-inch size. The pre-installed app makes it very handy.
With the help of projector, users can able to watch 720p HD movies,
videos and play music tracks on any flat places like walls and ceilings.
The notable thing in HD projector is it has 15 Lumens super bright
effect, which means one can use it outside (in daytime) without any
difficulty with upmost brightness.
The
smartphone has a 4-inch TFT touch-screen for users when not using its
projector. The specs of the Beam include an 8GB of pre-loaded storage
capacity, a 1GHz dual-core CPU and a 6GB of RAM, which is desirable to
run the CPU.
Further specs contains a 5-megapixel rear snapper for
HD video capturing, a 1.3-MP front camera, which can be used for video
talks and long-lasting 2000 mAh battery that makes even more prevailing
experience for those who love to watch movies daily.
Unluckily,
the Galaxy Beam will run on older version of Android OS, the Gingerbread
2.3 but it will be upgraded to ICS 4.0 later this year.
However,
the company didn’t say about the availability and price tag of its Beam,
but once we find out more, we will update you by another post.
