Samsung has introduced its newest addition to the Galaxy line-up of Android devices, called the Galaxy Tab 2. This 7-incher will sport Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ 4.0 out of the box and it will be powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of system memory.
The onboard storage capacity is limited to a maximum of 32GB, which
is supplemented by the customary external storage on microSD cards. The
dual-camera configuration is comprised of a front-facing VGA camera and a
3MP rear camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0
host, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Direct as the standard package, while
another model will also be 3G capable. On the software front, Samsung
will load the phone with its software suite and TouchWiz UI tweaks. So
far, there is no word on the pricing or availability of the Galaxy Tab
2.
