At CES, Dell's Alienware, makers of some very high-priced gaming hardware introduced an affordable gaming console-like PC, something along the lines of a Mac Mini, but way hardcore.
This messiah of
low-cost gaming is called the Alienware X51. The X51 is a slim-tower
gaming desktop, packed with some excellent specs, that start from $699
an goes right up to 1149$. The lowest-end cabinet comes packed with a
1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 545 an Intel Core i3, and scales up to an
i7. All units have full HD output as well as built in wireless. Of
course you can assemble something better for less, but the X51 has got
wicked looks. So, Alienware, you better bring the X51 down to India, and
if you price it right, you could have a potential winner.
Update:
It's available in
India at starting at 49k, which gets you an Intel Core i5-2320 3.0GHz
CPU, 4GB DDR3, 1TB SATA HDD, and 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 GPU.
