It's 21st century and gadgets have become an inseparable part of our lives.
All day long we are surrounded by gadgets like a computer, a mobile
phone, a television, an air conditioner and a lot many of them.
Present-day technology offers a wide array of gadgets to choose. There
are gadgets available for almost all chores of life. But then there are
some of them which are “must-haves” to survive in this hi-tech world.
We have tried to identify those five gadgets which we think are a must to fulfill your tech needs and desires.
Smartphone
Mobile phones have become a lot smarter these days. It is no longer a
device to make/receive calls and send/receive texts messages. A
modern-day smartphone is a hand-held wonder which lets you perform many
tasks which you could only perform with a computer earlier. Smartphones are easily within the reach of a common man as their prices have fallen substantially.
Laptop
Lives are going digital these days. Almost all tasks are done via
digital means. The days when data was entered manually and huge physical
logs were maintained are passé. This is the age of computers. From
writing letters to maintaining records, from watching movies to browsing
internet, a PC comes handy on every occasion. The only drawback with normal desktop PCs
is that it's difficult to move them from place to place. This is where a
laptop scores over it as it is portable and easily manageable.
USB Flash Drive
Colloquially known as a pen drive, it's an amazing invention which lets you carry all forms of data in your pocket.
The best part about them is that the data on them can be erased and the
user can fill in new data easily. And what's more? These are pretty
cheap these days. A 4GB pen drive will cost you somewhere around Rs
300-400 only. Apart from pen drives, external hard drives with
capacities up to as much as 6 terrabytes are also available for users
who need to carry larger quantities of data.
Camera
Thanks to the arrival of digital cameras on the scene,
you can capture all your memorable moments in life very easily and
quickly. Even though most good phones have cameras these days, they
can't live up to the quality, precision and comfort attached to a
camera. Digital cameras are also pretty cheap these days and a decent
one will cost you somewhere around Rs 4k.
Solar Charger
While smartphones make our lives considerably easier, they do so at the
cost of consuming a good deal of energy. If used heavily, even the best
smartphone can run out of battery in a short time. And what could be worse if your battery conks off at a
time when you needed it the most, say for making an emergency call.
This is where a portable charger comes most handy. And what can be a
better portable charger than a solar charger as you don't need
electricity to charge. A fully charged solar charger can be used at any
time and with great convenience.
