Cooler Master has released its high-end Silent Pro Hybrid series of
desktop power supplies in the India market. They get to be called hybrid
because of the integrated fan control system that, in addition to
controlling the PSU fan, can power and control three system fans.
These
PSUs are equipped with a 135mm, Super Silent Hydraulic Bearings power
supply fan, an integrated 7-volt fan power port, and a 5.25-inch drive
bay fan controller module. In addition, the PSUs in this series are
modular, which is very effective is reducing clutter and improve
air-flow within the PC case. Cooler master has released Silent Pro
Hybrid series with power output of 1050W and 1300W.
All this goodness does not come cheap, as the SPH-1050W is priced at
Rs 18,000 and the SPH-1300W costs Rs 20,000. Cooler Master claims that
these power units are built using quality components, and they are
willing to put their money where their mouth is by backing these up with
a 5-year warranty.
